域名註冊及虛擬主機服務商 Gandi 已提供 Let's Encrypt 憑證服務

隨著 Let's Encrypt 在12月發佈 beta 版,Gandi 很高興地宣佈,我們的 Simple Hosting 及 主機代管/寄存平台已與 Let's Encrypt 的免費憑證完成整合。

2009年起,Gandi 提供每個新註冊或轉入的域名一年期免費的 SSL/TLS 憑證服務,除此之外,也提供專業級的憑證。

Gandi 的技術長 Pascal Bouchareine 指出,Gandi 透過技術整合及在財務面支援 Let's Encrypt,實現了曾經承諾過要簡化 SSL/TLS 憑證之建立、安裝的流程,並將整個流程自動化。

「TLS 憑證的普及化可提升使用者於網路傳輸資料的安全性及隱私性,」Bouchareine 說道,「Let's Encrypt 有助於朝此目標發展,因此我們認為,我們必須提供使用我們主機代管/寄存服務的客戶這個服務。」

自2000年開始,Gandi 致力於捍衛全球網路的普及性、用戶的隱私權利、以及網路言論自由,其所支援的科技與人道主義計劃已超過300個。Caliopen 即是顯著的例子,這是免費且安全的通訊系統,讓使用者可以監控並提升自身網路活動的機密性。
